On this occasion, the gallery would like to present and match the paintings of some artists, undoubtedly significant, facing the problem of the renewal of painting from different perspectives: opposite examples of abstraction, from the mystical sign to a more clearly defined geometric shape.
What unites their work is the effort to overcome the limitations of painting, bringing the spectator to see their thought.
Through a selection of twenty artworks dating from the early Fifties to the end of the Eighties, the exhibition aims to unveil the various facets of abstract painting.
